This summer, we had the pleasure of orchestrating a beach-themed ceremony, where our lovely couple tied the knot at Casa Y’bel Resort in Sanibel Island, Florida. The couple chose a destination wedding, in an effort to maintain their desired level of intimacy for their wedding weekend.
We arrived to the sunny, breathtaking island on a Thursday morning, where the aromatic smell of the deep blue ocean and white sandy beach invaded our senses.
After a short wedding rehearsal on late Friday afternoon, guests were entertained at a poolside meet & greet, hosted by the beautiful & gracious mother of the groom. It was fun because of the couple’s warm personalities. It was interactive because of the live, hand rolled cigar demonstration, that we put together as a surprise gift from the bride, to her groom. It was beautiful, because of the color coordinated attire worn by guests, to participate in beachside group photos. (The early group photos save a tremendous amount of time on the day of the wedding).
On the day that our loving couple would be wed in holy matrimony, with 46 of their closest friends and family members present as witnesses, the atmosphere was filled with hues of blush, ivory, sea foam green & khaki. After a huge family breakfast and an outdoor massage for our blushing bride, the big day was underway! Together with a wonderful group of vendors, that we partnered with from Sanibel Island and its surrounding cities, we were able to create the perfect, classic romance themed vision for our couple. Congratulations again to the happy couple!
